A few job opportunities currently exist at EAPGROUP.

EAP welcomes queries from individuals interested in employment in various capacities, ranging from proofreader and sub-edtior to web designer. These vacancies may occur from time to time.

Those wishing to explore employment with EAP, in the first instance, should express their interest and make their query as specific as possible when writing to EAP Human Resources.

Individuals with linguistic competence in Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, Japanese, Persian and Turkish and Urdu are invited to send in their CVs in order to be included in the employment database.

A limited number of internships are available from time to time. Currently EAP collaborates with British and US universities in different internship programmes facilitating training for young graduates in journalism and media courses, as well as undergraduates. Art History graduates and undergraduates are considered for staggered internship programmes with flexible hours.

Current Openings

Advertising Sales Agents, salaried, freelance or commission only, for EAP journals and magazines. Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, Korean and Japanese is desirable in certain categories but is not essential. Applicants must have proven track record of experience with online and print media sales. Positions are based in London and freelancers can be based elsewhere in the Middle East, East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Africa and North America. Those who are familiar with EAP periodicals and are confident they can contribute to our team effort from anywhere else in the world are also invited to apply. Joomla and Wodpress assistant developer/technician. Must be based in London. This can also be part of an internship, if available at a specific time.

• Chinese Mandarin to English Transcription. This entails transcription of interviews made in Mandarin or other proceedings. Applicants must have full command of English. Can be based anywhere, must be comfortable with digitised voice files.
• Korean to English Transcription. This entails transcription of interviews made in Korean or other proceedings. Applicants must have full command of English. Can be based anywhere, must be comfortable with digitised voice files.
• Korean/English Proofreader. Based in London.
• Japanese to English Transcription. This entails transcription of interviews made in Japanese or other proceedings. Can be based anywhere, must be comfortable with digitised voice files. Applicants must have full command of English.
• Arabic to English Transcription. This entails transcription of interviews made in GCC and Maghreb Arabic or other proceedings. Based in London, must be comfortable with digitised voice files. Applicants must have full command of English.
• Farsi to English Transcription. This entails transcription of interviews made in Farsi (Persian) or other proceedings. Based in London, must be comfortable with digitised voice files. Applicants must have full command of English.
• Book and magazine assistant designer, part-time, with full command of Indesign CS & Photoshop CS. Based in London.
